PES university Bangalore, Admission in PESIT, PESIT entrance exam & Fee Structure

For Admission in PESIT, students can first check if they meet the eligibility criteria by visiting the Programs page, tour the campus or check Admissions Information Centre (AIC). To enroll at PESIT South, students can take up CET, COMED-K, attend counseling & select the program and report back to the college with the admission order.
For admission in PESIT, students will need to take up the, PES (Peoples Education Society) Scholastic Aptitude Test called PESSAT. PESIT Entrance exam  is conducted at various locations across the country; students need to register for it by first filling up a detailed online application form , pay the exam fees of Rs 1050 via online payment methods or through a demand draft.
The duration of the PESIT Bangalore Entrance exam is 180 minutes & it is in turn divided into 2 sections. Section 1 has questions from 11th & 12th Std CBSE Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry subjects.  Section 2 will have 20 questions from English grammar. Students also need to note that there is no negative marking in PESSAT.  For BTech counseling, PESIT considers the PESSAT rank which is generated based on the PESSAT score of the candidate..
Students who have appeared for both Common Entrance Test ( CET) & PESSAT, but gets elected through CET, can surrender the PESSAT seat & opt for seat allotted through CET. The extra money paid by the candidate will either be refunded or adjusted against the total fees payable in this case.
For the academic year 2016-17, students who are admitted for the BE program, under the PESSAT Merit Category A need to pay a fee of Rs 90,000 per annum, those under PESSAT Merit Category B need to remit Rs 2, 80,000 per annum & those from CET Quota, fee structure is yet to be announced. Those candidates who come via the NRI/Foreign/Sponsored/ Management quotas streams will still need to appear for CET/PESSAT contact the PESU Admission office for more details about fees.
