The Bachelor of Business
Administration (BBA or B.B.A) is a Bachelor’s degree in commerce & business
administration. The BBA degree has been
designed to impart a broad knowledge of the functional aspects of a company
& their interconnection by allowing them to study various core subjects ad
allowing them to specialize in the specific academic area of their choice.
Christ University BBA has
been designed to provide high quality professional education to management
students and equip them to meet managerial challenges of the 21st
century. One of the basic objectives of Christ University BBA is also to
facilitate entrepreneurial & self employment opportunities & foster
independent thinking by each student.
Eligibility criteria in Christ university for any student to
pursue Christ University BBA is a pass at the +2 level Karnataka
PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) in any stream (Humanities, Social Sciences,
Commerce & Management, Sciences) from any recognized Board in India.
Students pursuing International curriculum must have AIU approval and must
obtain a grade of not less than 'C' or its equivalent. Candidates writing the
+2 examinations in March-May 2017 may apply with their class X and XI marks.
To apply for the BBA program for
academic year 2017, candidates need to download the application form from www.christuniversity.in website or
they can also collect it in person from office of admission Mode from Office of
Admission, Christ
University, Central Block, Hosur Road, Bengaluru - 560029 which is
available from December 8, 2016 onwards.
Both applicants applying through
online mode & direct mode (application bought at the office) should fill
the application through online at http://offlineapp.christuniversity.in/
by tracking the following steps. Firstly candidates need to create a 16 digit
unique login email id by entering their email id, mobile no & date of
birth. Then they need to follow further instructions listed under ‘Apply
Courses’ and remit the application fees through credit/ debit/ net banking
facility. Candidates must provide a valid email id & mobile number for
further communication. They must submit all marks cards online, including
Class, 10th, 11th, 12th , copy of Transfer
Certificate ( TC) from last qualifying institution & Migration Certificate
for students outside Karnataka. They then need to fill in all the details in
the “detailed application” page & click submit. Once they click submit, an
editable page appears, in which candidates can make further corrections (if
necessary) and then click on ‘Confirm Submission’. Then need to choose the
payment option; fill in the required details to process the ‘Application
Processing fee’. On payment of the application fee, the application is
submitted online and application number generated alongwith an option to print
the form. Candidates need to print, sign & keep a copy with them. A copy of
this form alongwith 2 recent passport size photographs & 1 copy of the
original filled-in printed application form duly signed by parents/ guardian
alongwith a copy of marks card of Class 10, 11/12, Transfer Certificate,
Migration Certificate, passport & Visa page ( for applicants outside India)
needs to be sent by registered post to the Office of Admission, Christ University
within 5 working days of submitting the application online.
Once the application is
processed, an E-admit card will be uploaded 5 days prior to the scheduled selection
process date for the Entrance Test, Skill Assessment, and Micro Presentation
& Personal Interview. Candidates can access the E-Admit Card from the link,
“Current Status of Online application” by typing his number & date of
birth, they need to carry this alongwith original documents of Class 10th
, Class 11th/ 12th , photocopies & report at the
venue 30 minutes prior to the stipulated time.
Candidates will be intimated
about the Selection Status (Selected/ Wait Listed/Not Selected) through the
“Application Status” link on the University website. The selected candidates
must process admission at the Office of Admissions as per the stipulated date;
time and venue mentioned in the offer of admission card and submit original
documents as specified on the website. Fees applicable for students from is Rs
105000 per year; for those from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Goa it is
RS 115000 for the 1st year & Rs 105000 for the other 2
years. For students from other states it
is 130000 for the 1st year & Rs 105000 for the other 2 years.
For NRIs it is 185000 per year for all the 3 years, for SAARC / Africa/ OCI/
PIO/ ASEAN students it is 4500 USD per year & for all other foreign
nationals it is 5000 USD per year.
Important dates for Christ University selection
process at various centers in Bangalore, NCR & Kolkata is as below.
Applications are available online from December 8, 2016, venue details will be
released online for all centers on April 10, 2017. The last day for submitting
the application online is April 20, 2017 ; the last date for receiving
application along with all supporting documents is April 22, 2017. The E-Admit
card for Entrance Test, Skill Assessment, Micro Presentation and Personal
Interview will be generated on April 24, 2017. Entrance Test ( ET) will be held
on Aril 24, 2017; while Micro Presentation
( MP), Skill Assessment ( SA) & Personal Interview ( PI) will be held
between April 30th to 03rd May 2017 and scheduled as per
the E-admit card. Final selection list
will be published on May 05, 2017.
